Noopept – what is it?
Noopept, or N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester, is a nootropic drug. Other names for this preparation include GVS-111, Nupept, Zynapse. It was patented in Russian research laboratories, as was Ladasten. It is compared to another nootropic preparation, piracetam, but its effect is almost 1,000 times stronger. And this means the possibility of using much lower doses of the product.
As a nootropic agent, the product perfectly supports learning processes, in addition, it exhibits neuroprotective and anti-anxiety activity. In the body, it is converted to cycloproliloglycine, an endogenous neuropeptide.
Noopept – application
GVS-111 – as a preparation with a nootropic effect – can be used by people showing increased mental activity, studying and studying, with many professional responsibilities. The product supports cognitive function, improves memory and concentration. Taking the product is accompanied by an improvement in mental well-being. The product can act as an anti-anxiety and antidepressant, and also provides emotional stability.
When using the product, it is possible to reduce fatigue. In addition, the product supports the immune system. It is used in supporting the treatment of such neurodegenerative diseases as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease . The compound reduces the cytotoxicity of abnormal protein conglomerates in the brain.
Mechanism of action of nootropics
The product exhibits several mechanisms of action. First of all – it increases the sensitivity of cells to acetylcholine, thus improving memory. This is especially true for the transformation of short-term to long-term memory. By increasing levels of neurotrophic factors in the hippocampus, GSV-111 helps alleviate depressive states. In addition, this increases the neuroplasticity of the brain. This translates into more efficient brain function.
How to dose the product?
The recommended dosage of GVS-111 is 10 to 30 mg, taken 1-3 times a day. It is not recommended to exceed the maximum daily dose of 60 mg. Good results can be achieved by taking it simultaneously with choline.
