What is Ladasten?
Ladasten is a drug developed by Russian scientists in the 1960s. The following nomenclature can also be found in the literature: Bromantane, Bromontan , ADK-709. This preparation is a derivative of the antiviral amatadine, but its dopaminergic properties were discovered by accident. The product began as a treatment for neurasthenia, a neurotic disorder. In addition, Soviet army soldiers used the product to increase physical performance and mental toughness.
The compound is currently used as a nootropic, a formulation that is excellent for supporting cognitive function and increasing motivation. From its adaptogenic properties comes the ability to relieve stress and anxiety. As an actoprotector, the product can increase the physical performance of the body without increasing oxygen demand or increasing body heat.
Ladasten – application
Ladasten can be used to improve concentration, memory, ability to absorb new information. Facilitates the transformation of short-term memory doi long-term memory. It can increase the desire for action, adding energy and motivation. Another valuable property of the product is to increase the body’s resistance to stress and nervous situations. Hence, it is ideal for people exposed to stress, pupils and students, white-collar workers, as is cerebrolysin.
The benefits of Ladasten can also be felt by physically active people. The product increases organism’s efficiency during training, reduces the feeling of fatigue, and enhances post-workout recovery.
Mechanism of action of Ladasten
The product works by inhibiting the reuptake of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that affects cognitive function. As a result, it helps increase dopamine levels in nerve synapses. The product also inhibits the reabsorption of serotonin, which determines excellent mental well-being, as well as norepinephrine, which acts as a stimulant and motivator. This translates into mood stabilization, increased neuroplasticity of the brain, and increased adaptability of the body.
Ladasten – dosage
The recommended dose of Ladasten is 50-100 mg per day. The drug is best taken with a meal containing fat, as the compound Ladasten is fat-soluble. The use of the product is not accompanied by the risk of addiction or the development of tolerance in the body, and thus the need for increasingly higher doses.
